I've been hiking and spending time up at Mt. Charleston since I was 8 years old. While they might not be the Rockies or another famous range. They have their own wonder and beauty. Last week I started a hike in the late afternoon and finished just after sunset. It was 3.5 hours of a wonderful mental therapy session. Let me know what you think.

I I was thinking about having a meetup to see the fall colors at Mt Charleston/BristleCone trail later this month but noticed that the Las Vegas Hiking and Outdoors meetup group is already having one on Sunday the 27th at 8am.

Joe,
Congrats on some very nice photography! I think your 2nd & 3rd images really have some marketable Stock value. Michael Caristo Photography Edited by User 1,294,272 on Sep 5, 2009 8:24 AM |

I I was thinking about having a meetup to see the fall colors at Mt Charleston/BristleCone trail later this month but noticed that the Las Vegas Hiking and Outdoors meetup group is already having one on Sunday the 27th at 8am. I'd recommend still setting up a separate event for our group. The Hiking groups events don't usually seem suited to the pace that photographers take. Sounds like a great outing to me! |

Joe, I appreciate the nice comments from everyone so far. Thank you! Michael, it's nice to hear that you feel the images have some marketable stock value, but I don't know where to go with that. Do you sell stock photos? Thanks, Joe |

Joe,
Yes I have been active in the Stock Photography Market since the mid 90's. I have 75,000+ images in my Stock Library. The industry has changed alot in the las 6 or 7 years and not for the best. If you want to meet me for a cup of coffee or something sometime we can talk about it more. |
