Introduction

I've dabbled in photography for years, but want to get more serious about this art and interact with others who share this passion.

What are your favorite subjects to photograph?

Landscapes, candid photos, my 4 year old, and anywhere I have the opportunity to travel.

What's your self proclaimed level of experience?

I'm a quickly learning amateur. So far, my experience has been some film SLR work in the past, but mostly point and shoot. I'm preparing to purchase a dSLR within the next month, and have been reading all I can get my hands on.

What are you hoping to get out of this group?

Meet other photographers and learn from their experiences and expertise :)
