Hi I have always been creative, drawing, painting and jewelry making. Now Im trying photography. Looking forward to meeting like minded people
I tend to take photos of the ordinary in creative ways. I also love to photograph the nature.
Well since I just bought my first DSLR camera about a month ago....I would say very little. Although I have taken some awesome photos with my regular digital camera.
I would like to meet peopl who have the same interest and then pick their brain. Essentially I want learn.

Hey Lauren, welcome to our Las Vegas Track Club Meetup Group. We have Low Key ($3/$5) 5K's most Saturdays this summer as well as many Tuesday evening races on various high school tracks. You'll fit right in, AND your first Low Key Race is FREE!
Welcome Patriots fan Lauren!
Got your message--good to hear you're interested. Yes, it has to be on a weekend for some, such as Tish, to make it. Right now either Oct. 29 (Sat) or 30 (Sun) looks promising. If you're on Facebook we can communicate that way--enough friends pushed me that I joined. Oh, and how's Hank? Take care.
Lauren--I'm trying to get as many of the alumni together for a return hike to Dantes View in Death Valley (Dantes to Mt. Perry). Would you be interested? If so, right now a weekend day in late Oct. or early Nov. look best. Please let me know.
Barry has some really good songs
Looking forward to chillin' with you at Islands - see you then!
Lauren--Thanks for your reply. I trust Hank is alright & his troubles have passed ;-) Lois posted her photos of Kolob, so all should be up. They don't do the hike justice; it has to be seen/experience
d to be believed. Dino is posting it once a year, so another organizer would want to post a 14+ mile one-day hike there. If you don't have a fear of heights I'd recommend Angels Landing also (shorter, more elevation, & more dramatic). Well, take care--see you on the trails.
Lauren--saw your comment about backing out of Dino's Zion due to your dog swallowing something. Weren't you on Dino's Arrow Canyon hike with your dog Hank? If so, I hope Hank is alright--he's a very friendly, happy guy. I recall you saying you just had Hank and no other dogs. If you're not the same Lauren, well I hope your dog is okay too. Either way, I don't envy you having to check dog poop.
See you Saturday, there'll be some extra shovels and rakes but you might want to bring a pair of gloves.
I was so beat I didn't even think about the hat when I left.. It's no big deal though because I was planning on getting a new one that wicks moisture better soon. So just go ahead and toss that one in the trash and I will get a new one :-)
