Introduction
My name is Chad McMillan, but you can call me Chad McMillan. I love photography. It is a passion, which I am too lazy to learn in enough detail to master. Yet, I can't get enough of it. I've been transplanted here from Texas.
What are your favorite subjects to photograph?
Various cultures fascinate me. I am also into history. Yes, I like rust-I enjoy the obscure-I like to look at what you might just miss. I wish I could shoot portraits--but my goal would be to capture the essence of ones personality, not just a pretty photo.
What's your self proclaimed level of experience?
I am proclaiming here and now, that I have taken photos for well over 30 years....yet would say I am an amateur--who LOVES photography.
What are you hoping to get out of this group?
Simply meet interesting people. Possibly go on some of these meet-ups. And find a way to push the idea that Lake Meade has its own Nessy..or one big catfish. Oh--and to have people on here join another group of us on Facebook http://www.facebook.com/groups/nvphotoclub/
