Joyce Tenneson - On Your Own
Joyce Tenneson will show her work and talk about her process as a photographer, writer and publisher. She will explain how to stand out and create a signature style in an increasingly cluttered market. Tenneson's intimate style of working with her subjects has lead to a successful 25 year career. This will be a behind the scenes look at that success and at Tenneson's vision, style and her transition to digital technology.

From the description above, this seems to be the quick version of a week long class she instructs at places like the Santa Fe Photographic Workshops. I'm personally very excited to hear what she has to share about developing a personal style.

JoeEvent HostOrganizerWhat was that? Nothing like it was advertised since she didn't talk about how to develop your own signature style at all. The presentations were surreal, and not in a good way. At least not for me. Oh well. -

Bill KauffmanAssistant OrganizerA Humble and Spirited Photographer. It was a pleasure to listen and relate to every word of her story and her inspiration. The upcoming young professionals of today, as well as professionals should have benefited this evening buy thinking from scratch. I would find it very pleasurable and enlightening to spend a few private moments with someone who knows how to capture the spirit. It is obvious her passion for the arts is not influenced by the monetary gains that have naturally rewarded her over time.
