A Night at City Center

This meet up will focus on lighting and Architecture. Sunday Night at City Center, should be an exciting time to focus in on the dramatic contemporary setting of City Center at night. It will be a difficult but challenging time without the use of a tripod. So the use of those high ISO settings and a steady hand will be a big benefit. I have been to city center and photographed during the day, and did not encounter opposition to photographers.
We will meet at the Jean Philippe Chocolate Fountain inside the Bellagio (In the corridore that leads to the City Center Tram past the Bellagio Conservatory & Gardens) and take the tram over to City Center Shopping complex called “Crystals”. At that point we should break up into groups of 3 or 4. We will have a starting point, a half way meeting point, and an ending point. This will equal 2 hours of shooting. No leashes here, just a method of keeping the group together. After the meet up, you should post 2 of your best photos to the group photo album, one interior and one exterior. I will submit them to a team of photographers; they will be judge, and a prize to the winners. It’s not about the prize, but it’s about the fun we had and the creative challenge being presented with.
I pick the Bellagio as the meet up location so we will have the opportunity to photograph the Jean-Philippe Chocolate Fountain

inside the Bellagio on the way to the Tram and after the City Center a chance for those with HD Video capability a chance to film the Bellagio Fountains. I have not made any provisions to stop for a snack or drinks, but we can do that at, or after, the meet-up.
